Australian Health Review (AHR) is the official journal of the Australian Healthcare & Hospitals Association (AHHA), and Australia’s principal peer reviewed journal on health policy, evaluation, economics, program development and management. AHR facilitates extensive discussion of ideas and research. AHR is published quarterly. It is the journal that Australian health executives reach for. AHR is distributed in print and electronically to health facilities and universities across Australia and internationally.
New issues of AHR are released each February, May, August and November.
Accessing AHRTwo types of subscriptions are available. personal subscriptions for single users and institutional subscriptions for multiple user sites such as libraries and hospitals etc. Personal Subscriptions
Individual subscribers receive access to Australian Health Review via quarterly print edition and/or access to our extensive online research archive. Print copies are posted to the subscriber’s nominated address and online access to the current edition and full archive is available online using a username and password.
Individual subscriptions are for the use of the designated subscriber only and website user credentials are not to be shared among multiple users.

Access is via IP addresses provided by the subscriber OR via a username and password.

Online access to the AHR can be purchased separately or together with a print subscription. Subscription fees vary and are based on the number of Relevant Full Time Equivalents (FTEs)* located at each site.
Institution Price TiersSmall (1-820 FTE): $206.30
Large (821+ FTE): at $0.25 per FTE
FTE pricing applies to single-site or multi-site institutions as we recognise some health and research organisations are based on several very small campuses.

Libraries & Academic institutions: Total number of medical faculty (academic staff and students) including those enrolled or engaged in medicine, pharmacy, nursing, psychology, dentistry and research
Hospitals: Total number of clinical staff including doctors, pharmacists, nurses, psychologists, dentists, administration and support staff
Corporate institutions: Total number of researchers, medical and associated support staff
Government institutions, regulatory agencies, medical societies and all others: Total number of staff employed in health, medicine, pharmacy, nursing, psychology, dentistry, clinical research and policy team.
